Yesterday, the draft amendment of the National Defense Education Law was submitted to the 14th National People’s Congress Standing Committee for the initial review.The revision of the school’s national defense education system has been improved, and students in ordinary colleges and high schools should receive basic military training during their schooling. Junior high schools can organize students’ military training.

A total of 6 chapters and 39 draft amendments to the National Defense Education Law include: clarify the connotation positioning of national defense education, clarify the guiding ideology of national defense education, clarify the national defense education leadership system and work responsibilities, improve the school’s national defense education system, expand the scope of social defense educationAnd channels, strengthen the protection of national defense education.
